FÜRMA is an innovative system specifically designed to safely release formalin inside biopsy containers. It prevents healthcare professionals from coming into contact with this carcinogenic substance and its vapours.

The FÜRMA system allows to fix the specimen, by releasing the desired amount of formalin into the biopsy container.

You simply have to place FÜRMA on the specimen cup, equipped with a special rubber cap, then apply a light pressure with the palm of your hand. A mechanism is automatically activated, allowing a needle to penetrate the container and ensuring a hermetic seal.

By pushing the pump placed on the top of FÜRMA, it is possible to release the desired amount of formalin, depending on the volume of the sample
